Andong Dam is one of water sources of water supply systems. The catchment basin of Andong Dam is more than 1,500 square Kilometers, having pollution along it´s water ways to the dam.
The result from water´pollution in the dam catchment basin are as follows.
1. The average rainfall in the dam chtchment basin in more than 980mm in the year,
2. The average concentration of water quality is 0.8ppm(BOD),2.lppm(SS) in 1989.
3. The pollutant. loading in the dam catchment basin is 27, 556k9/day(BOD), 78,901kg/day(SS)
4. Nutrients loading in the dam catchment basin 10,088 ky/day( T-N ), 2,013kg/day ( T-P ).
